Oxford Academy of Dance and Performing Arts

Competition Team

 

Competition is for the student who wants to take dance to a higher level. A student can only become a competition team member by invitation or scheduled audition.

 

Students who make the team are required to take certain classes and commit to a year-long performance schedule. Members of the company will learn different routines to compete throughout the year. They attend workshops and perform at local events as well.

Performing Companies

 

The performing company was designed for the student who wants to perform more than once or twice a year. Students attend an extra weekly rehearsal to learn choreography to perform at local events such as the “Relay for Life” and “Celebrate Oxford” festival.
